The press head is moved up and down by two roller screws, the rotation of the spindles is generated by servo motors. The position of the slide is measured at two points, which also allows the detection of misalignments. Thanks to the integrated position control of both motors, parallelism between the ram and the table can always be guaranteed, even with an off-centre force load. Each movement of the press ram is programmable with regard to speed, path, force and thus all resulting combination possibilities. The press can be used universally for sheet metal and solid forming trials.
