On January 23^rd, a group of students and research assistants paid an exciting visit to the Schunk Group in Heuchelheim as part of a practical insight.

The aim of the excursion was to give the students an initial insight into the additive manufacturing of components. This was impressively demonstrated by the axial pressing of products from Schunk Mobility. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Frank Baumgärtner and Hannes Grygar, who not only explained and demonstrated the process, but also made it possible to inspect rejected parts and illustrated the challenges of production in a very practical way.

A big thank you also goes to the students, who repeatedly stimulated exciting discussions with their questions and thus ensured a very exciting exchange!
