Practical insight at KAMAX

As part of the TdF manufacturing technology lecture, KAMAX gave an exciting practical insight into forging in Homberg Ohm this year.

KAMAX specializes in the production of high-precision and high-strength cold formed parts in large quantities. Every year, more than 300,000 tons of steel are formed into screws and other components that perform important tasks everywhere in our environment and thus enable the smooth and safe functioning of many everyday objects that we take for granted, such as our cars.

The practical insight gained in the lecture provides students with interesting insights into how fluctuations in semi-finished products affect the manufacturing process of wheel bolts. During today's visit on site in Homberg (Ohm), Dr. Christian Ludwig and Maximilian Schaller showed us the impressive production and the diverse and exciting opportunities for engineers in such an important company as KAMAX.

The PtU would like to thank them for the entertaining and very informative day and looks forward to further cooperation!
