Forming Your Future – Forming Technology Excellence Program

The “Forming Technology Excellence Program” will soon be launched at the Institute for Production Technology and Forming Machines. Under the motto “Forming Your Future”, students will have the opportunity to be part of current research and to sharpen their professional profile. Participants will conduct their own research on an innovative topic of particular relevance to forming technology of the future. This includes initial scientific publications as well as participation in research and industrial projects and teaching. The status of “Junior Scientist” also includes access to the resources of the institute, a complete workplace and attractive remuneration.

The aim of the program is to inspire students for metal forming technology, to develop their technical knowledge and personal skills and to give them the opportunity to stand out from the mass of graduates. This is intended to ensure optimal preparation for a possible doctorate following the program which runs parallel to the Master's program.
