13. Umformtechnisches Kolloquium Darmstadt

On 25.09.2018 the 13 th Umformtechnisches Kolloquium Darmstadt was held under the motto “Modern forming technology – flexible, versatile, resilient”.
The conference series Umformtechnisches Kolloquium Darmstadt (UKD) is held every three years jointly by the Institut für Fertigungsforschung e. V. (IfF) and the PtU. This year we were able to welcome numerous guests from industry and science.
During the presentations, the participants were informed about current trends in forming technology and the potential of digital solutions for this industry. The lecture program was supplemented by a tour across the institute's own test facilities as well as exhibition stands of industrial partners. The event was rounded off by a cozy finale during which the new 3D-servo-press was presented.
