Metal Forming I + II

Metal Forming I + II are lectures belonging to the main studies of mechanical engineering and industrial engineering. The lectures cover fundamentals of metallurgy and plastic deformation of metals as well as a wide range of forming technologies and forming machines. During Metal Forming I (winter semester) the focus will be on sheet metal forming while during Metal Forming II (summer semester) the focus lies on bulk metal forming. Besides theoretical lectures, students will have the opportunity to participate in practical exercises.
