Entwicklung eines 2K-3D-gedruckten aktiv-elastischen Niederhalters zum Tiefziehen von Papier
Development of a 2K-3D-printed active-elastic blankholder for deep drawing of paper
Bachelorthesis
Paper packaging offers the opportunity to reduce the use of plastic-based disposable packaging and therefore plastic waste. Paper packaging produced in the deep drawing process forms creases due to the necessary material flow. Active control of the material flow makes it possible to better control the creases. To do this, it is necessary to apply partially increased hold-down forces to the samples. Pressure chambers in the blank holder, which were designed in a previous thesis, offer an initial approach to realisation. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the implementation and effect of a 3D-printed active-elastic blank holder on the deep drawing of paper. To this end, the following work packages are to be processed, which can be discussed and, if necessary, adapted in a personal meeting:
- Constructive revision of previous printing pockets by using a two-component FDM printer
- Construction of an active-elastic blank holder with several pressure pockets and investigation of the effects on forming
Research method
Experimental, constructive
