This year's Forming Future networking event took place at the PtU on 13 June. As part of our open research facilities, students, cooperation partners and former and current employees of the institute came together to discuss current research topics in forming technology and make new contacts.

A special highlight of the programme was the Research Olympics, where guests had the opportunity to experience the degrees of freedom of the 3D servo press and the geometric diversity of flow splitted profiles in exciting and cooperative games. The talks also focussed on sustainable manufacturing processes, innovative sensor technology and individual career paths in production technology.
