Research from Lisbon in international exchange

2025/06/30

Last week, two of our colleagues took part in the IDDRG Conference 2025 in Lisbon. This international conference is the meeting place for experts in forming technology worldwide.

We are delighted that we were able to be part of the scientific program with two contributions:

Jonas Moske presented his research on “Inline Wear Detection in High-Speed Progressive Dies Using Photometric Stereo”.

This innovative approach to wear detection is based on image processing and real-time analysis of metallic reflections.

Philipp Schumann presented his work on “Cavity Design for Surface Textured Sheets in Metal Forming” – a contribution to targeted tool design for the functionalization of sheet metal surfaces.

In addition to the informative presentations, the conference provided a valuable platform for exchanging ideas with international colleagues, gaining new impetus for our work and, of course, experiencing an excellent setting in the middle of the vibrant city of Lisbon.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the organizers of #IDDRG2025 and all participants for this successful event.
