The 13^th Darmstadt Profiling Conference took place on 26 and 27 March and was jointly organised by the Institute of Production Research (IfF) and the Institute of Production Technology and Forming Machines (PtU).

We can look back on two inspiring days, which were characterised by exciting process demonstrations, insights into current research topics and lively discussions.

With over 130 participants and eleven specialist presentations, the conference was a complete success with consistently positive feedback.

A crucial aspect in the development of new technologies is the exchange between experts from industry and science. DAPRO offers a great opportunity for this in a pleasant atmosphere, which was once again utilised extensively this year.

We would like to thank all speakers, guests and helpers, without whom these wonderful conference days would not have been possible, and we look forward to welcoming you again in two years' time!
