On 31.01.25 Christoph Kuhn and Florian Geister had the opportunity to visit fischerwerke GmbH & Co. KG. After an interesting tour of the production facilities, there was an opportunity to discuss David Schöttke's externally supervised master's thesis and to share memories and experiences from current and previous PtU projects over lunch.

The exchange also focussed on the discussion of our research project on numerical damage prediction in profile rolling. Our special thanks go to Dr. Robert Meißner and his colleagues Anika Bradač, Dr. Falco Vogler and Dr. Matthias Kluge for their hospitality and open dialogue.
