As part of the TdF manufacturing technology lecture, KAMAX GmbH in Homberg Ohm gave a group of 16 PtU students and employees an exciting practical insight into forging on 10 December.

A big thank you is owed to Dr. Christian Ludwig and Maximilian Schaller, who provided an insight into the production of high-strength fasteners – from material pre-treatment and multi-stage forming processes through to quality assurance and packaging. A particular highlight was undoubtedly the self-developed automation solutions in toolmaking and quality control. We would also like to thank the students, whose numerous questions repeatedly stimulated exciting discussions and thus contributed to an inspiring and enriching exchange!

The PtU is grateful for the entertaining and very informative day and looks forward to further collaboration!
