Since the winter semester of 2024/2025, Eric Hahn is part of the Excellence Program “Forming Your Future” at PtU. As part of this program, Mr. Hahn will focus on the investigation of the production of soft-magnetic rotor and stator cores for electric drives using the interlocking process. Currently, the industrial application of interlocking is based on empirical knowledge. His work will focus on conducting a comprehensive analysis of the influences of component design, tool parameters, and process parameters in the interlocking process. The goal of his work is to scientifically examine these influcences in the interlocking process and establish a solid foundation for the process.
