In our team, you will work on innovative research projects in the field of forming technology and develop numerical simulations for the microforming of thin metal foils – with a view to nuclear fusion applications!

Your tasks include:

• Development and validation of numerical FE simulations
• Characterization of material properties for high-precision forming processes
• Design and commissioning of a forming tool for part production

With us, you’ll have the opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. and publish your scientific findings. Additionally, through collaboration with industry and research partners, you’ll expand your network with exciting new contacts.
