This year's 15^th Forming Technology Forum – FTF offered exciting presentations and active discussions on the topic of “All about blanking”. In addition to many innovative contributions on the latest developments, the thermoelectric effect was discussed, which, due to its properties, is said to have an ever-increasing potential and influence in forming processes. The PtU participated in this discussion through @Felix Georgi with a presentation on “Comparative analysis of in-situ wear detection in forming processes: optical vs. thermo-electrical methods”.

As part of the AutoForm Poster Award, the topic was also discussed in lively 5-minute speed dating sessions. First place went to Felix Georgi: Congratulations!
