How can we meet the challenges of global sustainability in forming technology?

Current focus topics such as sustainability have a high priority at PtU. For example, Nicola Jessen and Lukas Kluy attended the Global Conference on Sustainable Manufacturing in Buenos Aires at the end of 2023 to present the latest research results on paper forming and energy efficiency in forming technology in an international context. In addition to numerous exciting keynotes, the event also focused on networking with other scientists from the field of production research. One thing is clear: overcoming the challenges of global sustainability is becoming an increasingly urgent task in order to protect our planet and promote sustainable peace and prosperity. Interdisciplinary discourse and meaningful action in learning and teaching about sustainable forming technology are the key to success.
