Welcome, Franz-Josef Jaklin!

Since 15.10.2023 Franz-Josef Jaklin strengthens our team as a research associate at PtU. Mr. Jaklin is part of the project “Rosi – Optimization and efficient process design of flexible roller beading” . The aim of the project is to create the application-oriented basis for achieving industrial acceptance of flexible roller beading by optimizing the process in terms of tool design and process layout.

Mr. Jaklin already gained experience in the field of forming technology during his studies by working on various student projects. He also wrote his master's thesis at the Institute of Production Engineering and Forming Machines. This is entitled “Networking of punching and roll forming with hardware and software implementation” and deals with the use of synergy effects of data networking of punching and roll forming processes.
