Welcome, Robin Krämer!

Since 2023/07/01, Robin Krämer has been strengthening our team as a research assistant at PtU. Mr Krämer is part of the “StAmping Insights” project. The aim of this project is to develop a system for monitoring and automated adaptation of fast-running production processes to changing boundary conditions.

Mr Krämer has already written his master's thesis at the institute. This is entitled “AI-supported trajectory planning in a SPIF process on a 3D servo press”. In it, he investigated an approach to realising a product control that is able to compensate for unknown process influences. The focus of the thesis is to perform a product geometry optimisation with the help of reinforcement learning.
