International conference Numiform 2023

The conference NUMIFORM 2023 (14^th International Conference on Numerical Methods in Industrial Forming Processes) took place from June 25^th to 29^th, 2023 in Krakow, Poland. It consisted of a series of sessions and mini-symposia on various aspects of numerical methods in industrial forming processes.

In the field of material behavior and modeling, Yuchen Leng gave a presentation titled “Numerical Investigation of the Material Behavior of Inhomogeneous Paper.” In this presentation, she introduced an approach for modeling the local material structure in numerical simulations and examined the material's response to uniaxial tensile testing.

We would like to express our gratitude for the excellent organization by the organizers and the inspiring presentations by the other participants! The exchange with scientists from around the world was highly enriching.
