This week, IfF and PtU welcomed more than 150 participants to Darmstadt for the 12th “WAPRO” roll forming conference. The two-day event on March 22 and 23, 2023 was a great success thanks to the high response from the entire roll forming industry. The opening evening meeting in our Smart FormING Center brought out many interesting conversations about the live demonstrated processes and gave rise to lively discussions about upcoming trends and future joint projects. On the second day, the conference focused on expert talks from science and industry in the newly opened event area of the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. The entire value chain of profile technology was examined from different perspectives, with the core topics of sustainability and digitalization offering many connecting factors for exchange among all participants.
