Welcome, Sven Varchmin!

On February 1st Sven Varchmin joined our team as a research associate at PtU. Mr. Varchmin researches the integration of artificial intelligence in forming processes and is part of the project ProKI .

Mr. Varchmin has completed his master thesis at PtU, which is entitled “Digitalization of packaging processes – data-based identification of process states in technical applications”. In it, he developed a system for the optical detection of article properties in ongoing production. The captured images are evaluated using a neural network, allowing for the evaluation of product quality.
