On February 1st Sven Varchmin joined our team as a research associate at PtU. Mr. Varchmin researches the integration of artificial intelligence in forming processes and is part of the project ProKI.

Mr. Varchmin has completed his master thesis at PtU, which is entitled “Digitalization of packaging processes – data-based identification of process states in technical applications”. In it, he developed a system for the optical detection of article properties in ongoing production. The captured images are evaluated using a neural network, allowing for the evaluation of product quality.
