PtU at the IDDRG Conference 2022

2022/06/13

Presenting one's own research activities at national and international conferences has always been an integral part of promoting young scientists at PtU.

After this had to be cancelled in the past two years due to pandemics or could only take place in digital form, the three PtU scientists Christian Kubik, Daniel Martin and Janosch Günzel were allowed to present their contributions at the 41st IDDRG (International Deep Drawing Research Group) conference.

This took place from 6-10 June in Lorient (France) and was hosted by the Université Bretagne Sud.

In addition to many exciting lectures, new inspiration for future research activities could be gained, especially through the intensive personal exchange with colleagues from all over the world.

The topics of the three PtU contributions are:

  • Towards a Real-Time Tool State Detection in Sheet Metal Forming Processes Validated by Wear Classification During Blanking (Christian Kubik). Article
  • Design Guidelines for Interlocked Stator Cores Made of CoFe Sheets (Daniel Martin) Article
  • Development of a Process Chain for Multi-Stage Sheet Metal Forming of High-Strength Aluminium Alloys (Janosch Günzel) Article
