Examinations at PtU again as combined module examination

2021/10/07

Dear students,

The combined module examination consisting of a written and an oral part is a unique feature at PtU. It is particularly important to us because we are convinced that this is a particularly fair way of assessing performance that takes individual strengths into account.

The combined module examinations will again take place in presence with hygiene concept from November 2021.

Registration for the desired examination date takes place as usual via Ms Passet by email to and only after confirmation of the examination date in the second step via TUCaN. A few days before the exam, we will inform you by email about the exam. For the exams themselves, in addition to your photo and student ID, you will need your own document-proof writing material as well as a medical or better FFP2 mask, which must be worn during the entire exam. You will also need to prove that you meet the 3G rules (tested, vaccinated, recovered). At this point we would like to ask you, for the protection of your fellow students as well as our staff, to only appear if you feel absolutely healthy.

For all further details, please refer to the notes on examinations on the Corona homepage of the Department II and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

We wish you every success in your exams.
