The BMBF joint project RobIN 4.0 was successfully completed after three years of work on December the 31st, 2016

2017/04/05

On April 4 th , 2017, the final event took place at the PtU in Darmstadt.

Within the event, the project consortium presented results from the fields of sheet metal forming, solid forming, and control and feedback control systems. The aim of the association was to increase the robustness of process chains in forming technology. By integrating sensors, intelligent data processing with appropriate interpretation and interaction between elements of the value chain, these goals were achieved. For this purpose, the results of the joint project are described in detail in the final book „Der Weg zu Industrie 4.0 in der Produktion – BMBF Zukunftsprojekt RobIN 4.0 Robustheit durch Integration, Interaktion, Interpretation und Intelligenz“ (ISBN: 978-3-87525-418-1).

On behalf of all project partners, we would like to thank the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for funding the project “RobIN 4.0”. Furthermore we gratefully acknowledge the excellent support of our consortium by Ms. Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Christel Schwab from the Project Management Agency Karlsruhe (PTKA).
