GOM Pontos – 3D-Online-Photogrammetry

GOM Pontos Live is a mobile optical 3D measuring system consisting of two high-speed cameras and the software GOM Inspect. The measuring system provides precise 3D coordinates of reference point markers and can be used to investigate motion sequences. This allows, for example, to measure vibrations, deflections and tilting. Using the software, it is possible to determine and evaluate distances, relative movements and accelerations.

The system is used by the institute to investigate process and component faults. With the help of GOM Pontos, press accuracy can be determined and the cause of default parts can be detected.
