Successful Disputation of Florian Hoppe at PtU

On 20.04.2021 the digital disputation of our long-time scientific employee and head of department Mr. Florian Hoppe took place. Using the example of the 3D servo press, he was able to show how kinematic observer models are suitable for the detection of multi-dimensional position deviations, how stiffness can be modelled and how these deviations can be closed-loop controlled by robust control laws.

Further research work by Mr. Hoppe was aimed at the control of product properties in (multi-stage) forming processes and their monitoring using machine learning methods, which were published in numerous international journals. The PtU thanks Mr. Florian Hoppe for his extraordinary commitment and wishes him all the best for the future!
